I kinda forgot about this page. While I come out of my starved attention to digital distraction (I did not use the phone much yesterday and this morning),
I wonder how Cocteau Twin's reverb inspire much nostalgia. Is it because its Cocteau Twins? Specifically Serpentskirt. I had thought about how a chord's placement in time gets played back through rumination, that stirs up emotions of loss and yearning. On the flipside, if it were to be a track made in the veins of dark ambient, a sonic event could conjure trauma or fear. Just tiny thoughts to regurgitate in the morning, as I sip on coffee.
